QIDA PRODUCT NIGHT - Bailey Print Group

QIDA PRODUCT NIGHT - Bailey Print Group

Our QIDA decorators and designers had the absolute pleasure of being hosted at the Bailey Print Group’s home in East Brisbane in April this year.

From humble beginnings producing hand painted cross street banners under the Bailey family home in 1985, the Bailey Print Group founders – Ron and Halina Bailey secured the company’s initial foothold by winning the 1988 Brisbane World Expo contract to supply 2300 light pole banners, the brackets for the banners and the installation of the project.

With the passing of the torch to the second generation, Peter Bailey and Sam Bailey-Jensen, the company has moved into the digital printing era, and Print Group’s continual investment into the latest digital eco printing technology now positions the business to offer custom textiles, blind mesh, double sided back lits, wallpaper, building facades, vehicle signage, floor decals and so much more.

Our QIDA members were treated to a beautiful feast of food and drinks while we received a tour of the display showroom, learning the many applications of customisable printing from Bailey Print Group. From the latest in printable sound proofing material that would be at home in any high end media room around the world to printable finishes used for commercial fit outs such as hospital CT machines, there is nothing this company can’t print for your job. And did I mention the most stunning blinds and privacy screens?

Your QIDA decorator can now source any of these products and more, so don’t hesitate to ask them how they can work with you on your next project.

We were also very lucky to have guest speakers Nicole Cox (A Builder’s Wife) along with Warrick Bidwell (Tradie Wingman) speak to us about their joint venture… “Tradies in Business” which aims to support those in the trade industry get off the tools and get back into their businesses.

They offered us many insights in to the life of a tradesperson and how they are helping them run their businesses more efficiently and gain quality of life as a result. We as decorators and designers also fall into this category and are often working alongside tradesmen and women in order to complete our projects, so anything that helps us all deliver a premium service to our clients, whilst keeping us happy, healthy and motivated is a worthwhile bag of tools to have, pun intended!

Thank you to the entire team at Bailey Print group and Nicole & Warrick for another fabulous QIDA event!
